One day, Juan’s father lost his job and decided to move to Europe, hoping that he would earn a better living as a polo horse groom. He would mail his paychecks back home, and soon the family was able to buy their own house. But this happiness was short-lived – an aneurysm claimed Juan Carlos’ life while he was in Italy tending horses. In spite of the grief over the loss of his father, Juan decided to pull himself together and move forward. He delved into his studies at the Garín’s #2 Technical School where he ultimately discovered Forge. At 18, Juan earned his certification as a Chemistry Assistant, completed the Forge program and joined the work force at Tigre Argentina, a large plastics company. Currently, Juan dreams about getting promoted and someday being able to travel to Italy, in honor of his late father.
