Daiana’s parents moved from Chacó to Buenos Aires when they were only 16 years old. They brought one suitcase and the desire to find work and raise a family. They set up a small store in Los Tilos, a humble neighborhood in Pilar. They had eight children and learned how to live on a tight budget. But once Daiana became a part of the Forge Foundation, her life changed. Today, she earns a good salary that enables her to help her family. In addition, she has earned a diploma from Falabella with the highest possible score (100 out of 100) for her excellence in service and client relations. Daiana’s parents are very proud of her and want her younger siblings to follow in her footsteps. They all wait for her to come home every day on the steps of the family store, with a warm mate in hand.
