Daniel lives with his mother, stepfather, and three brothers in the neighborhood of Amancay near Maquinista Savio, part of Greater Buenos Aires. “My salary means everything to my family,” confesses Daniel, with a mix of pride and relief. Daniel is currently supporting his family. “As soon as I get my paycheck, I go to the grocery store with my mom to buy the things we need to survive,” he says, his face etched with the burden of being responsible for his family’s well-being. Without hesitation, Daniel’s shoulders these burdens and takes care of his family. “I would have never found work so quickly had it not been for Forge,” he admits gratefully. Sometimes life’s obstacles seem insurmountable, but Daniel accepts his current reality, he enjoys what he does and forges ahead.
